英语钟点表达方法

　1. 直接表达法

　A. 用基数词 + o'clock来表示整点，注意o'clock须用单数，可以省略。如：

　eight o'clock 八点钟，ten (o'clock) 十点钟

　B. 用基数词按钟点 + 分钟的顺序直接写出时间,表示非整点， 后不可加o'clock。如： eleven-o-five 十一点过五分， six forty六点四十

　2. 间接表达法

　A. 如果分钟数少于30分钟，可用分钟 + past + 钟点表示，其中past是介词，意思是?过?。如：

　twenty past four 四点二十 eight past one 一点八分

　B. 如果分钟数多于30分钟，可用(60分钟-原分钟数)+ to +(原钟点数+ 1)表示，其中to是介词，意思是?差?。如：

　8:35 可表示为twenty-five to nine 差二十五分钟九点，即八点三十五(其中的分钟数twenty-five 是由60分钟减去35分钟得 到的;钟点数nine是由8加上1得到的)。

　注：A. 当分钟数是15分钟时，可用名词quarter (一刻钟)表示。如：

　7:15可表示为 a quarter past seven， 12:15可表示为 a quarter past twelve

　B. 当分钟数是30分钟时，可用名词half (一半)表示。如：

　9:30 可表示为 half past nine，3:30可表示为 half past three。

　C. 若想表明是上午，可在时间后加上am或a.m.。如：thirteen past six a.m. (上午六点十三分)等。若想表明是下午，可 在时间后加上pm或p.m.。如：four o'clock p.m. (下午四点)等。

　D. 若表示的时间不够准确，可在时间前加上介词about。如：about eight (大约八点)等。 E. 在时间前面应用介词at 来表示在的意思。如：at nine 在九点钟，at about five thirty-five p.m. 大约在下午五点三 十五分等。

1. 最正式的一种表达方式

◇整点 小时（基数词）+o’clock （* o’clock读[?’ kl?k]，可以省略）

例如：08：00——at eight o’clock ; 12:00——at twelve o’clock

18:00——at eighteen o’clock ; 23：00——at twenty-three o’clock

◇几点过几分（半小时以内） 分钟+past+小时 （*都用基数词；美国英语用after代替past）

例如：08:05——at five past\after eight ; 12:25—— at twenty-five past\after twelve

19:20——at twenty past\after nineteen ; 22:10——at ten past\after twenty-two

◇几点差几分 （半小时以外） 分钟(60-分钟)+to+（下一个）小时整点 （*美国英语用of代替to）

例如：07:35——at twenty-five to eight (即差25分8点)

14：40——at twenty to fifteen （即差20分15点）

21：55——at five to twenty-two (即差5分22点)

需要记住的是：分钟一定要60分钟内剩余的（即用60-分钟）；小时一定要是下一个时间点（即小时+1）

◇几点一刻（或三刻）即四分之一时间，正好就是…15分（一刻）和…45分（三刻）

一刻（15分） a quarter past\after +小时

三刻（45分） a quarter to\of +（小时+1）

例如：06：15——at a quarter past\after six

13:45——at a quarter to\of fourteen

◇ 几点半（即30分） half past +小时 例如：08：30——at half past eight

*注：有的时候人们习惯在分钟后面加minute(分)，也是可以的。
